1)Wash your hands frequently.
2) Take a flu shot. Flu shorts take about 2 week to work.
3) Cover your face with a mask if others are sick. If you are sick with a flu stay home. Do not go to work or school or any other public places where you might spread the flu virus.
4) Drink plenty of liquids.
5) On a plane in a train on a bus or car. You can still wear your face mask if others are sick.
6) When you visit sick people in a hospital or in nursing home, you should wear a face mask if you are sick or the patient is sick. This way you do not transmit the flu virus.
